Merchant Spotlight: Lana’s Boutique

Did someone say fall fashion? As we say farewell to flip flops and tank tops, it’s time to see what local retailers have in stock for cooler weather. This week’s merchant spotlight takes us to Kalamazoo for an e-visit to Lana’s Boutique, a trendy clothing store for young adults.

From “lake girl” caps and fringe heels to kimonos and athletic attire, Lana’s offers a wide variety of clothing and accessories, but touts its specialty in designer denim, making it a great place to stock up on jeans for the cooler months. Lana’s knowledgeable staff helps you find the perfect fit to accentuate your shape.

After the success of her first location near Western Michigan University’s campus, which opened in 2004, store owner Lana Hoffman expanded her business to reach more shoppers. She now has a larger storefront in the downtown Kalamazoo shopping district and another in St. Joseph. Since 2008, she has rolled out Lazy Daisy, another boutique also located in St. Joseph.
